Check out Nigerian squad for Bolivia, South Africa friendlies

Super Eagles skipper and goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama will most likely be getting his 100th senior cap for Nigeria after being selected along 27 other footballers for the friendly matches against Bolivia and South Africa later this month.


Germen based Nigerian striker Anthony Ujah has been recalled to the squad after his recent form for Koln.

Inform West Brom striker, Brown Ideye is also on the list which include Godfrey Oboabona, Kenneth Omeruo, Ogenyi Onazi and Ahmed Musa.

Brown Ideye took to Twitter to express excitement over his call up.


"So happy to be back with the National team #supereagles #keepbelieving," Brown tweeted.

There are 18 overseas-based and 10 home-based professionals on the list.

Stoke City forward, Victor Moses was however put on standby as he is currently recovering from a minor injury.

Injured Chelsea midfielder, John Mikel Obi was left out of the squad.

          The players are expected to report at the Le Meridien Hotel, Uyo on Monday, March 23 March for the March 26 clash with Bolivia.

The squad will thereafter travel to to South Africa on Friday, March 27 for the bout with the Bafana Bafana in Nelspruit on Sunday, March 29.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria are still without a head coach, but a top source at the NFF has revealed to Pulse that Stephen Keshi will be signing a new deal very soon.
