Dating apps that will help you find your dream partner

So if you need some apps to help give
your dating life some much needed
attention, then try these ones below:

1. DateCheck: The slogan of this app is
'check your mate before you date'
and that's exactly what this does.
DateCheck runs a full background
check on your prospective date, from
marital status, age, education, and
even criminal history.

2. CallerSmart: This one is a caller ID
app that lets you plug in an unknown
number to generate the caller's full
name and crowd-sourced info for
you. Also, the app allows for a user to
look up someone's phone number (in
this case, your potential date) and
then see comments that others have
left about this person.

3. Circa News: What makes people
most nervous about first dates?
Wondering if they can hold a
conversation with this person for an
hour or two. Circa News rounds up
important news events into one easy-
to-read feed of bite-sized snippets, so
you can see the latest updates before
reading the entire backstory. Cool.
Now you can speak intelligently on all
current events and make sure that
this conversation flows no matter
what.

4. Hinge: Finding the right person to
date is quite difficult, but Hinge
makes it a little bit easier by
connecting you with friends of friends
(of friends). That way, you can drill
your friend with any and all the
questions you have before deciding to
go on a first date.

5. Refresh: This was intentionally made
as a business tool but it's more
awesome to use when researching a
potential date. You type in a person's
name and Refresh brings up all major
points from all of their social media
accounts. So you'll see where they've
checked in last, their recent trips,
their 'favourite' groups on Facebook,
etc.

6. Slydial: You've done your research
and realize that this person is not
right for you. Now it's time to give
them a call to cancel, but you're
stressing out because you don't really
want them to pick up. Just use Slydial

— it conveniently sends your call
straight to voicemail.
What do you think? Are dating apps the
way to go or they just overrated?
