ChelseaLeague leaders beat Manchester United
Chelsea are a step closer to their first English Premier League title in five years after a 1-0 win over Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.
An Eden Hazard first half goal was all Chelsea needed and a resolute defence in the second half to see off a resurgent Manchester United side on the back of a morale boasting 4-2 win over rivals Manchester City.
The visitors started the brighter side as to Herrera dominated the midfield from the holding role in the absence of injured Michael Carrick.
Wayne Rooney was back in midfield and also had a good first half but was unable to find a way past Chelsea defence.
He nearly scored after one of Luke Shaw's runs and cuts backs on the fourth minute but fired wide with the goal gaping.
Many thought Rooney converted the chance with David de Gea even celebrating with the United fans behind his goal.
Chelsea however took the lead after with Eden Hazard.
John Terry muscled Falcao off the ball before passing it to Oscar who back heeled an onrushing who fired past De Gea.
He will also be hoping to tops David de Gea in the PFA Player and Young Player of the Year awards.
