Chelsea captain John Terry put aside his differences with Queens Park Rangers defender, Rio Ferdinand to mourn with him following the death of his wife.
Ferdinand's wife, Rebbeca Ellison died on Friday, May 1 of complications from breast cancer and John Terry before celebrating the English Premier League title, first consoled the former Manchester United.
Terry played alongside Ferdinand in Sven-Goran Eriksson's England team, but the relationship between the pair got frosty following Terry's four-match ban by the FA after being found guilty of racially abusing Ferdinand's brother, Anton.
But the differences were out of Terry minds when he told Sky Sports: "I would like, on behalf of myself and everyone at Chelsea, to send our condolences to Rio Ferdinand and his family."
We earlier reported that Liverpool captain, Steven Gerrard sent a flower to Ferdinand consoling him following the death of his wife.
David Beckham, Bareth Bale and a slew of other sports personalities have sent kind words to Ferdinand.
