Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea agrees Real Madrid
Manchester United goalkeeper, David de Gea has shocked his club by agreeing a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
The Spanish goalkeeper has been heavily linked with the Spanish capital club and has been stalling to agree on a contract extension from Manchester United
According to reliable Spanish newspaper, Marca, De Gea has agreed terms on a deal with Real worth over £3.6million a year.
Macca claim that the agreement was reached months ago and a move now depends only on Manchester United to sell.
This will be a shock for coach Van Gaal on has revealed that he expects the goalkeeper to sign.
"We want him to sign but he has to want to stay here at Manchester United," Van Gaal said ahead of Sunday's visit of Arsenal.
"I don't know why he has not made the decision."
United have been linked with moves for Tottenham's Hugo Lloris and Stoke's Asmir Begovic to replace De Gea.
"We know who already shall be the next goalkeeper,' Van Gaal said.
"We have a list of goalkeepers who can replace him because we have to be organised also, not only for that position but every position. We want him to stay so hopefully he shall sign."
