Osinbajo And Adeboye Message For Nigerians

The vice president, Yemi Osinbajo, and the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, have called on Nigerians to be honest in everything they do.
They both said this on June 7, Sunday, at the 8th annual conference and reunion of the RCCG, Apapa Family, Lagos Province 20, which was held at the Tafawa Balewa Square, NAN reports.
Speaking at the event, which had the theme, ‘Riding on the wings of Change’, Osinbajo said people should be faithful in whatever they do, be it small or big.
He stated that the nation was in need of faithful men and women who can be relied on to help in nation building.

Osinbajo said: “It is that faithfulness, it is that trustworthiness, it is that loyalty towards the things you are doing and to people you are serving that will lift you up.
“That is the change our nation needs. I trust that we, as the children of God, will be not just harbingers of that change, but will be that change.

“Our country is waiting for us; I trust that we are all going to be that change that the nation needs,” he said.
Also speaking, Adeboye urged those in power to remember that power belongs to God, adding that they would all give account to Him one day.

“Anyone who wants to ride on the wings of change must be humble, kind, patient so that everything that Nigeria has lost will be fully restored,” Adeboye said.

The cleric prayed that the new leaders would rule the country with the fear of God.
The new governor of Lagos state, Akinwumi Ambode was also present at the event and he prayed that God would grant him wisdom, knowledge and understanding like King Solomon as he governs the state.
At the event, Osinbajo, Ambode and Adeboye were given Apostles of Change awards by the RCCG Apapa family at the event.
Last week Sunday, Osinbajo, who is a senior pastor with the RCCG, attended his first service at the Aso Rock chapel located inside the presidential villa, Abuja, accompanied by his wife, Dolapo. He delivered a goodwill message to the congregation and also conducted the benediction.
