Super EaglesSquad arrives South Africa ahead of friendly

The Nigeria delegation led by NFF Executive Committe and Chairman of the Technical and Development Commitee, Chief Felix Anyansi-Angwu arrived in the city of Nelspruit, after flying direct from Uyo.

According to information on the NFF website, the players and officials traveled aboard a CRJ 900 series aircraft belonging to ARIK Air, and landed at the Nelspruit International Airport after seven-and-half hours.


Super Eagles face Bafana Bafana at the Mbombela Stadium later today (3pm Nigerian time).

At senior level, Nigeria and South Africa have met 11 times previously, with Nigeria winning seven times and South Africa only once. The remaining three clashes ended in draws.

23 players were called up for this encounter by Coach Daniel Amokachi.
