APC senators accuse Jonathan of plotting to remove Jega

Senators elected on the
platform of the All Progressives
Congress (APC) have accused
President Goodluck Jonathan and the
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of
plotting to remove the Chairman of
the Independent National Electoral
Commission, (INEC) Prof. Attahiru
Jega.

The senators made the allegation
during a press conference in Abuja
on Thursday.
Senator Gorge Akume, Senate’s
Minority Leader, during the briefing
said the APC senators have it on
good authority that President
Jonathan and the PDP are planning to
remove Jega.
